Rear Differential

Help!!!!! My rear axel shutters and rattles when i make turns. It keeps me from excelerating until it stops, usually out of 1st gear. Straight aways are fine, but it makes that loud grinding metal noise when i turn. I have a 91' f-150 300 v6. Any help in identifing this would help, thanks.

Rear Differential

Check your universal joints. You may have one seized up solid or the pin bearings missing.

Remove your rear wheels and check your axel bearings too.

My money is on the universal joints.
