Im sure this question has been beat to death, but I did a quick search on here and I only found a couple of useful threads. From what I read, there are a couple types of leveling kits. 1) shackles, and 2) leaf springs. Are there any other kinds that I dont know about? What are you guys seeing, hearing, and using? And the typical question: who has the best "bang for the buck" kit? I dont want to spend a ton of money, and I do want something that is reliable, and fairly easy to install. I need atleast a 2.5', maybe even a 3" lift.
Id also make sure I measured the right way. I measured between the top of the tire and the top of the fender. The rear is 11.5" and the front is 8.5". The difference would obvously be 3", but I dont think I want to make it so the truck sits 100% level, just due to the fact that I want to get a 5th wheel camper in the near future. I dont want it to sag TOO bad.
Im just wondering if Im on the right track, and if not somebody can point me in the right direction. Thank you in advance, Aaron.
