hey guys this might be a dumb question but here goes, I measured the height of my fender wells from level ground and the rear was almost exactly two inches higher than front, will a 2" autospring LK make it exactly level or does the 2" actually raise it slightly higher? Would a 2.5" be too much? Has anyone measured theirs before putting the lift on if so what was it? I want to be able to run 325/65R18 or 325/60 so I know I will need leveling kit just don't know which size to get any help is appreciated.
I put a 2.5 Autospring kit of my '06 Screw and I measured and the front is up about 1/4", so basically its fairly level. It might be up just a little too much for my taste, if I would have done it over again I would have went with the 2", but I'm still happy with it. If you two any I woudl definately go with the 2" kit. I don't think the 1/2" between the two kits is gonna be enough to run one tire versus another. I only bumped tires up to 305's on mine, but I'm sure some guys will chime in on the sizes you're looking at.
According to the BFG site it is a 33.7 x 12.2 x 18 If you look a little bit farther down in this forum there's a guy with pics BFG 305's and a LK on his truck, they're exactly what I have on mine.
I measured mine at 3" higher in the rear. I put on the 2" AS and now measures 1/4"-1/2" higher in the rear. By this I got a little over 2" with my kit.

Thanks a bunch
I have the 2.5" and run the 325/60 setup and it works great have extemely minimal rubbage on the front plastic when the wheels are turned completely one way....rarely ever rubs!
I put the 1.5" AS on mine and I got 2.25" of lift. The rear is still 3/4" higher than the front so I'm happy with it. I haven't decided what size tire I'm going with yet, but I'm leaning towards the 275/70/18 Wrangler Silent armor which measures out to 33.2" tall and 11" wide.
I run 315/70/17s with a 2.5 kit and no rubbing except at full lock and only in one direction (haven't figured that part out, only turning right, not when turning left tho). For the tires you're looking at, you should be able to get away with just a leveling kit. Do keep in mind though that not all trucks are created equal and some sit higher some lower from factory; and also, almost all gain different amounts from the same leveling kits - some, like above, have their front sitting higher w/ a 2.5" kit, mine still sits lower than the back w/ the same kit...

Ok, so i'm not the only one with only one side rubbing

What are you running for Rims??? Auto Spring Says "After installing this kit you can easily clear 33" tires. You can even clear 35 inches tires on factory width rims." I'm just wondering because most of the 315 or 35's are almost 12.5 wide and that seems a little wide for the stock rims.
I am looking at doing the 2.5 leveling kit but i would like to use my stock 18" FX4 rims....Just not sure what size tire to go with...I like the idea of 35's. Thanks

Yeah I want to use my factory fx4 18" rims too but all the tires i've found I think are too wide like the 325/60 and 325/65. I know some people are running these sizes on factory rims I just think they are going to wear the tire out quicker than normal. I guess the 275/70R18 (33") or 305/65R18 (33.7) is the only right width tire we can go with. Tire company's need to come out with more choices!!!!
I installed a 2" on mine as I typically have stuff in the back, and don't want it to look like 600lbs of stuff makes my truck look a puppy that needs to leak.

after doing my leveling kit it sit 1/4 inch higher in the rear and its a 2.5 inch kit off ebay and i have mickey tompson atz 305 70 18 and with a 1/4 inch wheel spacer no rub at all
If you put anything larger than 305 on stock rims you need to trim the front valence alittle. I tried 315 on wifes and it rubbed slightly. reduced to 305 and no problem at all. I find i get bettet tire service from a 4x4 shop then a regular tire shop. If it is a reputable shop prices will be very close. They have vast more experience on tires with levels or lifts. I got Nittos mounted and balanced for $600. Not bad IMO
