Hey all
I am new here, looks like a cool website. anyways, my question is: I have a 1993 f 250. Can I put 35" tires on if i do a 3 inch body lift? does anyone know? Can i go bigger than 35"? thanks
Id get a suspenstion lift over a body. You can put 33's on stock. F250's are common to have the saggin front springs, so if you do a body chances are the springs will sag more.
I agree.....bodylifts just....suck...they're cheap but you get what you pay for.......and yea the 250 springs tend to sag a bit after normal wear......with a 3 inch body I'd assum you could stuff some 35's with minimal scrubbing...might have to trim the front bumper, rear of the fender...nothin you can do about it scrubbing on the radius arm tho.....
My options were body and 35s or stock with 33s. I went with 33s and i love it. They dont rub at all and they look great with my wheels. If anything i may lift the front.
Before you go with a body lift check out some trucks that have them. IMO they are fugly. But its all up to you...just stating my opinion.
Hey there. I'm new to this site also, but has great information. I have a '93 F150 4x4 with a2-3"(?) body lift the the previous owner did. I agree it is fugly, but I have grander plans for this truck. I just recently stuffed 36x12.5x15's under it because I got a deal on the rims and the tires came with it. I had to trim out the front bumper and it does rub the radus arms on hard turns. I think it rubs the back of the fender as well but I haven't notched it out yet.
I know I'll have other questions about my truck as I go, so I'm looking forward to getting to know all of you.

I agree, I hate the look of a body lift too, but when money is tight, what can you do? I wonder what it would take to fit 37" x 12.50" (s) on one of our trucks? Any ideas? See my other post in the older "classic" forums post under "military tires on f-150"
A buddy of mkine had militarys on a stock non lifted 79 F-250 2wd......another buddy of mine on here(same one actually) has a 93 Baby Blue F-150 that, before it was a SAS 4x4, had 35 inch tsl's on no lift and 2wd.......if you get a good set of F-250 coils or lift coils you could probly clear 35's easily.....
Welcome to the site PC....lookin forward to it...
