well THIS sux..
i worry King will come on and beat me. deserved i guess.
new Detectors going up tomorrow. and i pay attention to the burner i turn on.

P.S. And yes,,,for those of you who do not smoke,,,you can use a stick of incense to set the detector off,,,just dont pull the battery to get it to shut up,,,instead just wave a folded up newspaper in front of it to clear away the smoke. And if it does not work,,,,PLEASE,change it immediately,,,,putting it off for one day may be the difference between life and death!

My 3 boys come straight to me and lead me toward the side door every time they do.
I trained them to come to me then go outside everytime they go off.
I think we have 3 in our entire house. The one in my room is disassembled...been like that ever since I can remember. The others I don't think have been touched in 5+ years. We are definately due for an overhaul!
I'm glad ya'll are alright!
My guess would be about, oh, say six months after you took them out of the detector which was probably about three weeks after they started beeping at you every few minutes because the batteries were going dead.
Come on, fess up....we've all done it.
I have all hard wired, low voltage with battery backup, monitored by alarm company and several CO detectors on each level. My alarm installer thinks I am a paranoid nut but he appreciates my business.
Very glad Sassy was ok.....ok, glad you were okay too.
I'm kinda hoping your neighbors post some photos of you out in your yard bare-assed.....um, nevermind. I'm not really hoping that.

The one that works it the one in the room with the wood pellet stove so its all good. This house is so waterlogged i doubt it would burn well anyways.
I'll save them for Sean!!!
