I know this off topic just a concern hey southtexasdiesel im on vacation in edinburg, tx and i was wondering where u buy ULSD cause there is non that i have found?
You'll probably need to look for a truck stop. Most of them have ULSD available. There is still a lot of LSD floating around in Texas.
I got suckered into this thread. From the title I thought someone had found an EPA delete mod.

The only places I know of near edinburg is near the Boggus Ford dealership on 83 in McAllen. It's the Shell right next to the dealership. They're not cheap but they got it if you need it. Other than that the most places I've found them down there are the Exxon stations.
hey darkstone i would like to talk to you about your programmer i see that you have one any problem codes how does it run ect..would like it if you called me though 318-286-1205
Just saw Edge settled out of court for $500,000 and H&S still sells their programmers but you have to write a letter and haggle with the EPA to get the DPF program downloaded to them and I was told that its gonna be an arm and a leg just to haggle with them about it! This came from the mouth of and XDP rep and another rep from the diesel power house back home. SCT is still runnin their custom tunes but better hurry with any DPF delete program because they are slowly weeding them all out of the scene.

Yup. Looks like they're going after the big companies and working down to the smaller ones. I don't think they're going to stop everyone. How are they going to crack down on people from having a local shop write DPF delete tunes under the table? Or from a computer savvy person from writing their own delete tunes?
Exactly! It ain't gonna happen man. And the topic of people writin their own programs is, they can't hunt em down and pick em off one by one! They're gonna try but their not gonna be very successful.
If someone was smart enough, a truck could be tuned for less than 100$.
The PC to PCM adapter cables are like 20-50$.
I remember hearing that the programming is done in some hybrid C+ language, but if we knew the microprocessor and resources used in the PCM, maybe we could find out another way of going about this.
