edge juice w/attitude or other??

what programmer to go with already have the edge but is there something better?have had no problems and love the power but maybe something better.truck has 157,000 miles but motor was replaced at 91,000 by dealer under warranty along with egr valve.mods to truck are bully dog 4 inch exhaust (cat delete) muffler 6" tip,k&n air box setup,stock tires,stock trans replaced by dealer at 96,000.i know the early 04's had problems but this motor was done in may of 06 at 91,000.thanks for all the help if you can think of any other good mods let me know.thanks alot

how long have you been running that edge? most here will tell you to sell the edge and get an SCT with custom tunes. The edge has been known for destroying transmissions.

Ditto what riggz said. If you do a search w/ "Edge" or "tuners" you'll find enough info to read over the entire Christmas holiday, probably on into 2008! Most here on FTE will tell you to go SCT Excal (I would agree after creating many of my issues running a Diablosport Predator) as they are the "safest" and most custom tunable device for the 6.0

Edge makes OK power, its just not real good on the torque-shift tranny and yet there are some faithful users who swear by them. I'd say there are far more though that have had them and now use the SCT after some hard (expensive) lessons learned.

AND YES I KNOW WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT I'VE USED ALMOST EVERYTHING ON THE MARKET AND I KNOW the SCT is the best safest most powerful thing you can put on a a6.0, i dare anyone with an EDGE to race me how much money you got ??

Hey LvTitan! Have you had your rig on a dyno yet? DAMN!!

04 FX4 cc - 6" lift 35x13.5x20 mudders. 6.0 built from the ground up by Matt G @ SPARTAN DIESEL TECH- SDT stage2 sticks-SDT 65mm compressor (waiting on S300)-FASS 150/180-ITP fuel kit-MBRP 4"TB-no cat-BUILT 5R110-Billet HD T/C-SCT tuned by Matt & Evan at SDT--just to name a few. other "goodies"

yes i did, as a matter of fact but i couldn't get an accurate reading because i did not have enough fuel then... the dyno day was before the FASS and when it ran out of fuel pressure with the stock pump we shut it down, but when it ran out of fuel it put down 470HP and 790FTLBS, now that i have fuel i'm hoping to see 525-530HP and over 800, and this is a temporary turbo, my NONVGT should have me near 600HP when it's on ...

i second that !! my new turbo would surge very bad with my airaid intake, when i put a stock intake back on it helped big time.
you will still be able to make over 500HP with a stock intake so dont be afraid to put the stocker back on.. it holds more dirt, it filters better, and it is the best intake you can use and it's FREE..

Thanks alot for the help im going to take your guys advice what kind of power can i expect from a sct? also what egt is safe with stock turbo and stock head gaskets without doing the arp head studs? thanks again!!!!!!

if you are willing to push the limits you can get close to 450HP with an SCT and a straight pipe. everything else stock, but you are risking head gasket problems, i was lucky and never had a problem.
i'm over 500now but i have studs and larger turbo/sticks.
you can get away with 13-1400 degrees for quite a while at a time, but the general rule is 1250 continuosly.. i've run my pyro way past 1500 many times for brief, and some not so brief runs.

do you guys know how much power i can make with stock injectors with a i dont know if im willing to spend the $$$$$$ on injectors and a turbo,just looking to make good hp make some smoke and beat my buddies 04 dodge!!!!! thanks again for all your help!!!
