what are the symptoms that the accelerator reset would be performed for? im guessing things like half throttle but no RPMs, etc...???

The symptom is mostly a noticeable delay -- either when taking off or when trying to accelerate aggressively/suddenly -- i.e., in order to pass. Speaking strictly of a basis of "feeling", resetting make it feel like you move the response to the top of the pedal. If that makes any sense.

X2! Just had mine reflashed along with 30K service. Feels like a new truck.

Glad to help, I had the same thing with my 04 and I thought that it was just me. This forum is a great info center for this truck!!!!! Next you will want a edge programmer, it will enhance the truck even more.
