load range C isn't a great idea on our trucks......go with at least a D range, E if you tow often. If you don't tow, there are plenty of good D range tires that will do the job just fine, I have D range on mine, and tow a few times a year, but nothing more then 7000lbs, no problems here.
yea but he wants new tires and needs a better load range we all tend to carry the load now and then like they say better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it
the larger the load letter the heavier the sidewalls are and the greater resistance to sway just like lower profile i found on 03 that fully loaded bed or truck camper load d geolander were quite marginal
LIke pretty much said before......If you are not going to tow or haul....you are OK...If you are gonna haul or tow...minimum rating D better with E for heavy loads.
I agree. Load range D would be the minimum, but for the extra money load range E is the way to go. I've got load range Ds on my Dakota. I wouldn't want to go with Cs on a larger truck.

Was this a used truck you bought and it came with C's. If it is a F-250 I belive law requires a minimum D load range. May be diffrent in your state though. Like everyone else has said you can get away with C if you dont tow but I would go with a D range IMO.
my theory is.......why let a blowout endanger your life or your family's life, and change your mind later about D or E range. I'd get the C's off your truck pronto if I was you! Safety should be the major concern
