I had already replaced mine on my own. Showed dealer proof of purchase, dealer verified it was the latest sensor, tested the sensor and I got a reimbursement check from Ford.
I still have the old black one in, been trouble free for awhile. (if it ain't broke don't fix it) They re-embursed me for the new un-opened spare I had in the glove box. I then bought a new grey one.
That's up to you, I think some places still have the old black ones, I bought the new grey from Ford 'cause it was only 28 bucks or so. Int. still has the blue from what I hear.
