So the Ignition mod you say is on the dr fender and it is a 1 wire plug, is a good thing you told me this because where the coil mounts to the engine was another bracket that had a 1 wire connection i thought that was it

Ok im not sure whats going on exactly but everyones telling me to line up m marks at 10 degr before TDC but the only way it will start is 0 deg. So do i just advance it on my own then plug my shortning bar back in.

Any way got everything back together and was leaking from the thermostat housing, see what happend i went to get a new one and the idiots sold me the wrong one.
so i put the old one back in, and the thermostat must of came out of that groove and was leaking coolent faster then i could put it in.

I broke 2 bolts off when I rebuilt my motor.

It took a good solid week of drillin, soaking, and easy outing.

It wouldn't have been so bad, except Dad and I weren't thinking on the first one we tried drillin and used a Titanium bit and the tip broke off in the bolt, and that took hours of drillin and 12 standard drill bits to finally drill out that bolt.

I hear ya...I soaked the ones on my truck fer almost a week then I broke an easyout off in one....that's when I decided to go talk a buddy of mine outta the heads on his spare lightnin motor......broke a bolt off in one of them too....I took it to a machine shop...the guy drilled it torched it and plasma cuttered it and still couldn't get it...took him over 6 hours of getting frustrated and trading it off to other people before it finally got drilled out.....well worth the 50 bucks......

Prob some space age junk, that is strong but can rust where the stud and nut can rust into 1 peice like my old exhaust manifold bolts. I just used stainless steel and a healthy dose of anti-seize.
