check the bulbs, make sure its all clean in there, and use some di-electric grease in the socket...Usually wigglein the bulb will get it to work...Or it could be a ground loose...
one problem i had dennis is someone replaced the NSS at one time and hard wired it in....and I had a aftermarket one that I put in so no colors matched.....
It doesnt start in anything but P and N with it right now....but no lights...
you got a wire diagram I can look at to see which wire gets the 12 volts....
Also in your picture where the connector is just above it in the main harness to the left not the right to firewall...there is a black wire not connected to anything....
for the wires
the truck harness has
White/black/red/red
the NSS wires
Black/purple/Red/Red
The white/black and black/prurple are the only two to let truck start.....
the black wire on truck lets the backup lights come on with 12V
the most voltage I find while truck running is 0.5V
this truck has emissions missing so I have a white wire also from harness/black one/ and a light blue....
the light blue comes from firewall
the white one has some voltage on it
the black dont know...
