flickering alternator light

When I put the 351 back in my truck, the Battery light was on also. I wiggled the connections on the back of the alternator and it went off. Every now and again if I'm working around the alternator the light will come back on, which means it's time to wiggle the connecter again. It's never not charged on me, so I'm not worried about it!
