I have Magnaflow universals. I did the weld in ones and replaced the two stockers with one high flow per side. They were about $55 apiece. Runs better than stock, more sound with stock exhaust, and no CEL or anything else bad.
I've got the Carsound/Magnaflow on my Lightning and have had no problems with them. If you have emissions testing where you live you will need documentation that they were defective if your truck is less than 5 years old or has less than 50k miles on it.
no emissions testing here...
are all of these weld in replacements?
so basically just cut out the old cats...weld in the new just like a
muffler? never done this before... im a catalytic virgin. ish.
I like the sound of the magnaflow stuff...Thats what kind of exhaust im going with..
so makes sense i think to keep it the same.
