how many miles

how many miles do you have on your 7.3, and what have you had to do in terms of fixing?

140K now, bought it with 125K.

All I've had to do is glow plugs/gpr, ball joints, and 2 fuel leaks. 1 at the banjo bolt, and the other where the fuel line goes into the head.

146K now - bought at 118K
Rebuilt Transmission
New Fuel Bowl
New Window Gears
New axle pivot bushings and Radius Arm bushings
New front brakes, rotors and calipers

It's at the age where the rubber parts and normal wear parts need replacing, but I figure with all the repairs it should go along way now. Runs like a beast.

Bought mine is 97 with 6k miles. Since then, replaced lift pump, bunch of brake pads, UVWH, and a bunch of fuel and oil filters. Three sets of tires too. Now has 165k miles on it.

current 245K bought with 219K 1 year ago
fuel pump
Turbo
F+R brakes
u-joint
driverside ball joints
1 junk recall CPS
All the other stuff was for fun or minor/maintenance

1995 F-250 bought with 165K sold with 201K drove for 3 years
fuel pump
waterpump
1 glow plug
EBP sensor
brakes
u-joints
ball joint
front axle u-joints
window motor
alternator
Rear fuel tank
IPR o-rings
other small stuff/upgrades

All in all take the engine over the rest of the truck and the truck requires much more repair than the engine.

320,000 bought at 304,000 had tranny rebuilt before I got it and Reman TC...changed some sensors CPS, ICP, VSS, Neutral Safety, TPS. Glowplugs and GP relay. New orings in IPR. Rebuilt the turbo 2,000 miles ago. Completely redid the interior( new carpet, Bucket seats, and headliner). Other than that all original that im aware of.
