I would like to know the sizes of the stud kits. I work in a machine/welding shop and have many supply company. I think I can put together head studs with equal or better material than the $700 to $800 sets much cheaper.
Just need to know how many of each length and what thread with out taking my truck apart.
Thanks.
Oh I see now. I don't have that info but I am sure someone here will have it. Maybe one of the guys that has a set of studs installed will have the old bolts.

Good luck, but i dont think anyone would buy them due to the fact that they would be untested. Have at it, i'll stick to the $800 set that i know will hold.
Thanks, but I did not intend to sell them to anybody....But I feel like I can find a supply of equal are greater quality (psi) than the ones on the market (directed to the diesel market) the only difference would be thr broach in the end.. at a cheeper price
Other note why are the studs for a diesel so much $.......when the same manufacture builds studs for a gas motor from the same material and same process cheeper?
Make sure the threads are rolled on BOTH ends and not just one end. If they are cut on one end they will break, been there done that and not fun.
IMO they dont need to be be any better then the A1's, I think they are 260kpsi. There has been others try and do the stud thing on thier own and wind up with a mess with popped studs through the valve cover and digging them out if the block. Its not pretty.
