Add 12 way adjustable seats with power lumbar and manual bolsters, custom center console to hold seat controls and other switches, bed lined interior for sound insulation, roll bar, rock sliders, custom plate rear bumper, 9 speaker stereo system (one sub), power locks and windows, found a set of factory sliders that I am rebuilding. Currently in the works is a custom roof rack that slided rearward for easier loading, swingout tire carrier (bumper mounted to hold 33" and larger tires), onboard air and air horns, boat side skirts to protect the lower rear quarters form rock damage, super single exhaust and the list goes on and on.
Will do, but it may be a while. the 78 bronco is undergoing major surgery right now. Paint, all new rubber, and new upholstery. The door panels and rear side panels are laying in my shop now awaiting the knife. I have too many irons in the fire. The paint should be completed this weekend. Will take a few shots and post them if I get the paint buffed out.
The seats are out of a 88 t-bird turbo cope. They fit nicely and the brackets were not to hard to fabricate.
You guys really must get out more often. If you wonder over to www.fullsizebronco.com or sorry for this but www.LOSTKJS.com cause this is a
jeep sight but has a lot of mods that are home grown.
I think you can get heated power seats or you could you can also buy the heat packs at JCWhitney and make your own.
Power mirrors I'm sure Steve83 at Full Size Broncos has a write up.
One of the guys at LOST managed to get a pair of the pull out tow mirrors from a Dodge truck and mod them to fit a KJ. A KJ is a Liberty by the way.
My wife and I both travel between 40/50 miles a day to work. She takes our 03 Liberty back and forth and I am either running the BII or my full sized.
She does wheel our KJ and because of the mileage issue wanted a set of rock rails but could not justify 75 lbs excess weight so I laid up a set out of 2" receiver steel that are pinned and are removable. Haven't done much lately because we just bought the house about 6 months ago and I'm still setting up my garage plus I'm layed off right at the moment but after that LET THE GAMES BEGIN.
I think I have something that was made for that truck at least that is what I have been told. I have a set of Ford Off Road Halogen lights PN# ETZ-15200C these are 5x7 or 9 black lights w/blk plastic covers with the Ford oval on them in white.
By the way,
my name is Dave. Not David, just Dave
