Does anyone have any pics posted of their factory V-10 emblems? or maybe some measurements I can use to install mine? I bought a set on ebay for $38.00 and want to put them on as Ford did.I also thought of putting them under the "excursion" emblem on the sides of the fenders.
I got a 99 because my mother in law bought it in California. She passed earlier this year and her husband gave it to us because he said she knew we liked it and he did not need it any longer. It was the first one i ever saw, they drove it here back in 99.It truly is a 1999 model. I have to give the VIN # when I go to ford for parts, they dont list 1999 models without it? I just ordre parts for a 2000 when needed.
You are correct , I checked my title, and in fact it is a 2000 year model,I was told by my mother in laws husband it was a 1999 so that is what I thought.
I aligned my V-10 emblems so that the top edge of the emblem is the same distance to the EB stripe as top edge of the EXCURSION emblem... also I tried to align the curve of the headlight assembly to the front edge of the V-10 emblem.
I went with the old style V-10 emblems because the "font" matches the EXCURSION emblem... even though I like the retro look of the newer emblem.
