My mileage has increased at least 1mpg. I have seen higher, but the avg over 3000 miles has been 1.1 increased mpg - traveled the same route day after day. Reset lie-O-meter around 1000 miles each time to collect true avg data.
I drove the same route w/ my '05 6.0; the '08 MPG is only slightly worse - maybe 1 to 1.5 mpg worse.
Also towed my 12,000 boat and got 11.5 or 11.4 (can't remember). So all these bad MPG stories.....??? Must be either folks that drive like its a sports car or they got the higher rear ends. Hi rear ends will kill mileage too.
Now my 6.0 got incredible mileage on long trips on the highway. I have not had the 08 on the highway enough to compare. But short highway trips, looks like the '08 is getting 18 - 20ish. That too is ok by me.

I'm seeing a similar increase in mileage. I am averaging a 1.23 mpg increase hand calculated per tank with the job 2 airdam.
Hummm. We have the 4X4 off road package and there are things under there that hang lower than the regular 4X4 package.Have been told by what I consider experts including a Ford Tech that the dam improving MPG is doubtfull. We can run down the same road at the same speed on 2 different days and see a 1MPG or so difference in milage. I would like to make the change but need to be more convinced that it will really work as advertised.

I'll let you know, as I am skeptical too, but $90 is not going to kill me and it's worth the money to get even .5 mile improvment. Also read up on the guy that put the conveyor belt on the front to make an air dam. He was featured in magazines etc.... he runs a red 6.0 ford f250 i believe
