Vacuum pump
Going to replace vacuum pump, motor, switch. (Not sure what the correct name of the part is.) Tried O'reilleys, couldn't help me out. Can't find it on Napa site, Not even Ford or motorcraft. What is the correct part name and do I have to go thru Ford to get one? Its the one that runs the ESOF and heating/cooling ducts.

vacuum pump. Had to have mine replaced under warrenty

Thanks, but not the part I'm looking for. It is mounted up on passenger denderwell, about 2-3 inches long, and actual pump "cylinder" is an inch or so in diameter.

Sounds like you may be decribing the 4wd soloniod.

I think you've got it, but I still can't find the part thru napa, ford or o'reilleys. Will stop at Ford and talk to them. Thanks for the help guys.

If you go to Ford and tell them you need a PVH they'll know what to give you. That's what they called it on mine.

That is the correct name, I just couldn't remember the proper name. Anyway. I think they are fairly cheap, even at the dealer.
