I am trying to identify a vacuum hose on my truck (1986 f150, I6, 1bbl carb), the hose connect on the upper part of the firewall on a 3 connector plate and goes all the way behind the engine, then it connect to a metal tube and cant see where its going. any ideas ?
Also.. should i normally have an egr valve on this truck ? i cant seem to find anything, where should it be normally, near the carb ?
Can't help you with the vacuum line, but your truck should have an EGR valve. It should be under the carb towards the front of the truck. The vacuum line going to it should be green( mine is anyway).
