I am experiencing something unusual and I was wondering if anyone else may have heard of it or know the cause. When I am running in 2 wheel drive and my hubs are free, I am getting about 12mpg. However, when I am in 2 wheel drive and my hubs are locked out, I get about 14mpg. It should be the opposite. My truck has been wrecked so I had the hubs checked to make sure they were put back in okay and they seem to be fine. I have a '94 F150 4x4 ext cab with a 5 speed manual transmission and an inline 6. I also have 3.55 gears. My only modification is that it is running on 31x10.5's. Anyone know what may cause this??
