$100 is.....

Since it's the holidays, and we're all spending money, I thought I'd ask what $100 means to you. For me, $100 is a lot of money for a bottle of wine, a medium price tool, and a drop in the bucket for truck parts. What's $100 to you?

Seems like $100 today is the $20 of 15 years ago.

$100 doesn't go very far in todays world. It barely fills the fuel tank on my truck.

Fixed it for ya' Carl.

$100 is still a lot of money even though it doesn't go far. Anyone tells you otherwise, ask them can you HAVE $100 and see their reaction.

I think nothing of spending a c-note on stuff for me or the kids but am still a cheap b*stard at heart.

$100 pays for my gas for my Escape for about a month or so. It will fill the truck up for a couple or three months if I don't use it much. It pays my natural gas bill for the average autumn or spring month or two weeks of winter.

Or it will pay for one good night out with the boys.....

a c-note is worth more in some places than others. for example 10 years ago I spent a hundred bucks on a Bolens 17" straight shaft weed trimer. the trimmer died last summer and I felt good about getting another one exactly like it for the same price as 10 years ago.

$100 is a lot for me. It's about 1/3 of my paycheck every week. And like "Nitramjr", I'm also a cheap ******* at heart. I spent $50 on my dad for Xmas. I've got a few more people to buy for, and have no idea what to get.

YOu got to watch for the sales. We just bought a GE convection air toaster oven, a four slice toaster, both stainless steel, and two dozen cans of coke for $100.

Regular price $200.
