$100 equals a fair nite of racing, or a nice night out with my wife, or about half a tank of fuel for my truck.
$100 won't hardly buy the cheap parts I need for my hobby truck, heck the oil pump I need is almost $300
lol...1/15 of the next watch I want....no seriously its what i spend on each kid for Christmas,
a night out with the wife,
not many groceries,
half my months heating bill,
one months insurance,
cell phone bills,
baseball camp for 3 days,
2 pairs of shoes for the kids,
maybe a tank of diesel, but not both tanks...when I was a kid it was big money, and since I haven't had a bejamin in the poket for a while it still is!
YOu got to watch for the sales. We just bought a GE convection air toaster oven, a four slice toaster, both stainless steel, and two dozen cans of coke for $100.
Regular price $200.
Is a toaster oven and a 4 slice toaster redundant?
$100.00 is the perfect Christmas Gift for my kids,,, It's the right size, it's the right color and I don't have to worry about getting back to town to exchange it!!! They're happy,,, I'm happy,,, and I spend way less giving them cash than buying them stuff that they don't need!!!
$100 is a lot of money to me still. I have to think HARD and look at all my other options before I spend that much on ANYTHING.(unfortunately that includes my ford truck )
Too me spending a $100 on something isn't really that big a deal. You only live once and if spending a 100 on something that makes me happy I'll go for it.
P.S- No I'm not up to eyeballs in debt even though my way of doing things could end me up there if I'm not careful at the same time
A hundred bucks to me is:
- A nice dinner out with my wife and a bottle of wine.
- the cheapest trip to IKEA we can seem to manage
- a trip to the tool store.
