LAST EDITED ON 01-Apr-01 AT 09:39 AM (EST)[p]I have a chance to get a Granada with a 250 and C-4 for free.
I am wondering what block style the 250 has and if it is compatible with the 300 mounts or the 170/200??
I want to either use this thing in the big truck or a future Early Bronco project.
Just wondering if it worth bringing home.
Thanks,
Chris

The 250 is in the 170/200 engine family. There are some differences in how accessories mount, etc. and the 250 is much taller. Motor mounts should either be the same or similar enough to use/modify. Nothing will interchange with a 240/300.
AHA the 240 I knew there was a smaller member of the 300 family.
Well if this thing is not too much taller I suppose she would be a nice upgrade to a 6 cyl bronco.
I think I will drag it home.....the C-4 is worth that I suppose.
THanks!
