anyone done this on an 5.4? how did it work? how long have you had it on there?
i've seen different pictures an variations of it.. some unplug it and stick a resistor in there other cut wires and put the resistor in there. whats best?
i dont know all the details, but appears they are tricking the computer into putting more pressure to the fuel injectors.. also appears they are burning vegetable oil in place of diesel fuel... this is not for the gas 5.4 motor.
Those go in the temp sensor to trick the computer into thinking the engine is cold. It increases the injector pulse width to richen it up. Not good for mileage or cat converters. The Programmers actually increase the timing and lean out the mixture for more power.
Fuel pressure is controlled by a vacuum controlled regulator, not electric.
Yep, you can do the same thing by taking the Air temp sensor out of the intake and just tape it to your wiper cowl, but all it will do is make you run too rich.
