What is a MSD Ignition?
What does the MSD ignition consist of and what is it's function? Is this the same as the MSD6? I have an 82' F100 4.9 with 85,000 and I'm all for increasing the performance and gas mileage on this truck. Would I benefit from purchasing this system? I just replaced the "original" stock coil and if I'm not mistaken I can feel a big difference on acceleration. The replacement coil is of OE quality (not high performance). Is there a better brand coil to upgrade to or is that included with the MSD system?
