Key-in Ignition Noise

Is there any EASY way to disable the pinging alarm noise that sounds when you first put the key in the ignition?

Yes you can but you might want to move this question to your truck specific section. Here's a couple of links on how it's done on the older models. I'm guessing it will be the same with your truck.

Good luck and be sure to carry a spare key if you don't have a door keypad.
