Broke air minder

Has anybody had their air minder break? I did. It broke where the sight glass{plastic} is joined to the black plastic. It set off my air filter light on the dash. Kinda scared what this is going to cost. The trip of it is I dont know why it broke. My airfilter light whent off as I was changing the filter I noticed it was broke. I've fixed it right now with electric tape.

I've read of it breaking before. Never happened to me though.

Filter minders do seem to fall apart on occasion, usually right where yours did. I believe the cost to replace is right around $30.

Z-man there did'nt appear to be any coolant on the minder. Matter of fact it was pretty clean.

PowerStrokeHD, thats a dealer only item?
