Engine Question???

Engine Has No Spark
My, 1988 FORD F-250
I have recently rebuilt my engine & driving home, engine backfired out exhaust.
& the engine shut off. Engine cranks over but found no spark. I haved checked compression found all cylinders at 150 psi, Fuel is okay. found distibutor cap &
rotor bad ( severly fried). Replaced cap & rotor, still no spark, replaced coil
still no spark. can any one help???
