The cheaper one due to the fact that they didnt have the better one and it was rush hour. Oh yes,and doc we share the same tires! Its my second pair and i love em, how do you like yours?
i got my original back on there now..i got the Napa one before my trip to Florida last chrismas and kept the original for a spare...i never had a problem till this was talked about last week...i will be going to ford for a new one now...
my original was still doing a good job at over 122k so figured another oem belt was the way to go
I went to Autozone which is cheap, when the last one from there was badly cracked up after about 50K service. I was looking at my original OEM that I still carry as spare and it has no cracks or anything. I don't know why I changed it out at 55K.
How would you test your power steering pulley? I have a feeling mine is acting up. Seems to be losing alot of power while steering, get a good work out while trying to back in my trailers.

Maybe the pump is bad. You can test the pulley for play, or check to see how hard it is to turn. The pump may be starting to sieze up a bit, in which case the truck itself is going to have a hard time getting it to turn. Of course check your fluids, make sure you have a good level of ATF in your PS pump.
no way you should be going through belts like that if everything else is good. I just changed my original at 138k. Something (tensioner or pulley that is off). Fix that first. Then; and this is very important... put your old belt under the back seat. With a spare belt on board you will never have another belt failure.
I have 107,000+ on mine. Guess, I had better get a spare now that you have jinxed the belts. I know that thing looks like a PITA to put on. Dang upper radiator hose goes through it. Better Idea From FORD. Don't think so!
