For the past couple of days my truck has been parked in my drive way b\c it isnt running correct. the passenger side of the engine wasnt firing at all. i called the dealership and they said possibly cps, so i got on here and asked you guys and a couple of you said that it may be a harness.
So i tried to start it last night (32*) and it wouldnt start. so i got up this morning and as i was waiting for my ride i went over to the truck and turned the key and it fired right up and ran fine. WTF is going on? im so lost. could a faulty harness cut out sometimes or could it be some kind of sensor, or what about a glow plug relay?
Any help will be much appreciated.
Thanks,

Yep could be bad connection at the valve cover or under the valve cover. should also be a chaffed wire in the main engine harness where it goes over the driverside. Starting could also be the relay or the GP's getting a good conenction with the rest of the injectors.
i checked the passenger side last night and everything read fine but i was a little weary about the gpr i didnt get a good reading off it wih the ign on.
I had my entire left bank cut out once. All the under valve cover wiring an valve cover conectors checked out ok. Turned out the IDM went bad. I got a brand new one on ebay for something like $230. My dealer wanted $1300.
