99 f250 front end floating

i have a 99 f250 super duty 2wd with a powerstroke and it has started swaying while driving. It has new tires and they are the right tires for the truck but it is all you can do to keep it from floating from side to side while going down the road. I was thinking that it might be the shocks. It has 134,000 miles on it and was just wondering if anybody else has had this problem.

Did you inflate the tires to with in 10% of the tire's spec? The door sticker isn't correct for all tires, some need more air and some less. Tire tread design can also cause wandering, but with your mileage, I certainly expect stock shocks to be dead and the steering components ready to be replaced. Even good shocks only last about 100k miles.
