Trans. Question
'06 6.0 Torqueshift
Shifting my transmission manually from 3 to 2 at 5mph brings a violent engagement. (seems so to me, anyway) The truck has 27k on it (23k when I bought it) and has been used for pleasure i.e. no towing.
Any thoughts?

The 3-2 shift on a TorqShift is a very difficult shift to make smoothly. It's never going to be a great shift. There is a memory that "learns" the characteristics of the transmission and adjusts the shift pressures to improve the shift. Yours may have "learned" something wrong. You can disconnect both batteries to reset the learned info and that might help it.
