Lets play guess this part!

Ive got a couple mystrious parts I need your help with. The truck is a 1993 F350 7.3L Auto w/ OD

First is this hose... Its just coiled up on the lift side of the engine... Connected to a steel link running tord the back of the truck... Any ideas what it could be and why its just sitting there?

Second is this sensor type thing thats in the engine compartment, located on the driver side of the engine... any ideas?

And lastly the bellhousing area has a long metal tube (6-8 inches long) coming out of it... almost like a tube would connect to it. What the heck is this for? (sorry no pic!)

#1 ????
#2 Could be a data link connection
#3 Would be the rear of the block/bellhousing and trans drain should anything leak.

There are frost plugs, oil gallery plugs, rear crank seal and E4OD trans TC and pump seals in that area all of which could leak. Fuel on occasion will seep out if there is a leak at the fuel lines or IP due to the valley pan drain allowing said fuel to seep into the bell housing.

my truck has that black sensor looking thing too. Mine is actually hanging down around the frame by the drivers side front tire. But mine doesnt have that gray thing plugged into it like yours does.

I would really like to know what it is and what it does???

#1 looks like the fuel supply to the lift pump has been replaced and the stock line was just coiled up around the lines.
