Block Heater Question?

Block Heater Question?
I have a 05 6.0 F350 with 30,000 miles on her. Am I causing any damage by plugging in the block heater when I get home from work and leave it on untill I leave for work the next morning? The temps where I live change dramatically from day to day. On average though its been in the high 20's to the mid to low 30's at night. I have noticed she starts easier and sounds much better if she is plugged in overnight. Plus, I have heat almost imediately after starting her up. I only drive a couple of miles to work so if not plugged in she never warms up.
