I was just wondering if anyone knew the belt pattern for a 300-6? I have a 1983 Bronco with pollution control. There are only two belts hooked up right now. One on the water pump, alternator, and crankshaft pulley, and the other is hooked to the water pump, crankshaft pulley, and power steering pump. That was how it was when I bought it. The crankshaft and water pump pulley both have three grooves, the alternator has two, smog pump and pwer steering pump have one, and the A/C compressor has two. Any information you can give me would be greatly apprciated. Thanks in advance.
skipper,
on my "83 f100, there is a belt that goes crank,a/c,water pump. then one that goes crank, power steering, water pump. then one for crank, alternator, waterpump. the alternator pulley has two grooves and drives the smog pump which is right above it.4 belts in all. hope this helps.

Now, my non A/C 82 has the 2 rear most belts on the damper(crank pulley) running the alt. and water pump, and the front most running the power steering pump. The air pump ran on a tiny little belt from the frontmost(smallest) grove on the waterpump pulley, but, I have seen a few different setups(at least 4,) just look and see what pulleys line up.
