Talking Installed Propane

Hey, I just put a red rooster propane system on my f450. After putting 300 miles with the system on, this is what I say.
- Truck runs alot smoother, and quieter.
-Great Power Gain
-No Cheak Engine Lights
-The best thing, is the MPG gains(Went from around 9-10 to 14-15).I have yet to tow, or push the truck hard(with the system). YET!!

My brother uses them on his western stars, so he had a system laying around that he let me try. Il ask him when I get a chance. I would guess 700-800

thanks the water/meth adds good power also and no codes yet. it is not good to run meth with propane, so i will run just water with the propane. tow a 40,000 lbs with my f550, and it is not to often that im unloaded. every thing helps.

FOR Propane it depends on how big a tank you have(I have 15 gallon tank) and how much propane is in your area.

Be carefull, guys have blown their engines with propane. Too much propane= predetonation= boom. Also, you probably don't have a warranty anymore. Might as well hack off that dpf now.

just curious, why isn't it good to run methanol with propane? I know you're talking about a diesel app but i've been doing it on my gas engines for years and making serious power with no ill effects
