1998 explorer not staying runing!!!

my wife has a 1998 explorer that will not stay running whenever there is any kind of moisture in the air. i have replaced the wires and plugs. any suggestions?

Are you sure that moisture is not getting into the gas tank. Run some Heet or some other gas dryer and see if that doesn't clear it up. When this no run condition occors, pull a spark plug and make sure it is firing.

Sounds like the IAC idle control maybe on the fritz. will it run with your foot on the gas?

i agree, when my IAC was on the fritz it wouldnt idle. it would only stay running with your foot on the gas. and after it stalls do you smell alittle gas???
