Well it's overcast and fugly out today. Took the camera out, aiming at the caliper, and i couldn't even see the caliper in the screen. Just the wheel. Ill get a sunny picture tomorrow if it is sunny.
Did you try taking them with the flash on?
That normally will show the calipers the best....
Here's probably the best pic I have with the black calipers on my 01:
Need to paint the ones on my 07 now that I did wheels:
Not sure what to do on the calipers...but I'm thinking about doing the rotor hats silver (as opposed to the beautiful rust color that they currently are ).
Nope that's the weights....two were a PITA to get to zero out, the other two played nice. It was the same when they were on stock wheels, two took 6-9oz to balance.
Less weights on my 01 with it's combo....they all have 3-6 oz.
Not as bad as when I had 38" PJs with 13.0 oz on them....now that was a lot.
Thanks so much, everyone for the opinions. I think you've swayed me to red. I do have alot of red under the hood, and the more people i ask, and the more i think about it, im leaning towards red.
Someone has to be crazy to pay retail price for SSBC, that's all there is to it!
Tomorrow i can possibly take a picture of the caliper area and then if someone is willing to photoshop it, that would be awesome.
Yo Ron, naaa yo, i ain't be puttin LEDs behind my wheels, that and country music don't mix.
You're absolutely right, Kris. I forgot about the red you already have under the hood -- that's the tie-in right there...
I was just thinking. . . if you already have yellow in there, i wouldn't go with red because it would look like Mcdonnalds. Now personally i would go with the same color of your truck or black. When i think of all jazzed up painted calipers I just think of ricers. But thats just my opinion
