Has anyone one had any experience with these cams? I have a 85' 300ci L-6 in an F-150 4x4 with c-6. I have a Clifford Header and a Clifford intake on the way. I'm thinking about using a Holley 465 cfm Carb or a Edelbrock 500 performer carb. I saw they had the 270* duration that I wanted and it's for about $100 cheaper than Clifford with the lifters included.
I am not sure about the cam in question but have you checked out cranecams.com they have the blue racers I believe and also a lot of crane cams for your application. I don't know yet about their cams but they are pretty popular with a lot of people and I believe they price their cams at $125 or there abouts with lifters. Definitely cheaper than clifford. Good luck though
Just got valve springs and the H-260-2 cam from cranecams.com but won't be installing them until the machine work is done and the whole motor is re-done. Read alot of stuff in many forums, here and inliners.org and Crane seemed to be the least criticized and one of the most respected companies. Heard more good about Crane than bad about Cliffy! Better prices, too.
