About 130k miles.
Sometimes it takes a long time to start.
It's putting out ALOT of smoke, but then it takes several mins to start.
I turn it off and let the plugs glow longer, but it doesn't make a differance.
I just had a couple of glow plugs replaced, the glow plug's relay and a wiring harness.
I replaced the cam sensor about 15k ago.
The shop is just guessing and with my money!
Have any of you ran into this one?
Thanks, Garett
Sounds like your heui pump is loosing it's prime or is going out. Your injector O rings could be bleeding off the hi pressure oil. Look to see if you have oil in your fuel or fuel in your crank case.
Forgot to ask. Do you have hard start condition all the time, or only cold????

Are you shutting the truck off right after you get it started and then restart with it still cold or are you letting it get up to temp and then it's OK?
Next cold start (over night) check the level in the HPOP. If it's low the check valve is leaking. Come back here and we can walk you through the repair.
