Well my new truck has some oil in the valley and its coming from the pedistal. So I plan on ordering a pedistal o-ring kit from ITP. Im also going to install my wicked wheel while I have it all apart. I was thinking of getting a ss hpx line from ITP also. Is there anything else I should do while I got her all torn apart?? thanks
I'd seriously consider the EBPV delete, and possibly bellowed up-pipes while you're in there. That way you pull it once, get all that done and shouldn't have to touch it again for many, MANY miles...

Yeah I forgot about the up pipes. Do you think I should just gut the EBPV or buy a non EBPV pedistal?
CCK's are easier to do when the turbo system is torn off aswell! Been there, glad I did the cck when I did. (uppipes, ebpv delete, non ebpv pedistal, TN HFO, CCK) It was a good wednesday off of work, to work on the truck

There was a kit on eBay that included the pedestal and non-EBPV spacer for the turbo outlet for a little over $100, IIRC. I'll let you look for it, but if you can find it, it's the way to go (that's the route I'll be going). No worries about the plug leaking and less restriction at the turbo outlet.

When you do this, does it affect how the truck runs in cold weather? It gets a little cold here and I don't want to hurt the way it runs in cold weather. Sorry, i don't have a complete understanding of this EBPV system yet.

all it does is help warm the truck faster..it has no other use (other then a exhaust brake) mine is used as an exhaust brake..i never use it as a warming aid..it will not hurt any thing if you do not use it..it just takes a little longer to warm the truck...
