installing start button

well my key doesnt work again so im just going to put the button on the dash. i hope some1 steals it. Anyway which wires do i tie into? i am assuming these wires will be on that starter box thing on the steering colum. Please help fast i got a funeral in 2 hours and dont want to have to pop the hood.

I run a wire to the little post on the cylanoid and one to the fuse box

Start Button?I did it on my bronco....hell I was even stupid and didn't use an inline fuse.......one wire to the negative on the solenoid post and one on the positive.with a pushbutton.Luck

Don't forget that you also need to give power to your fuel pump and accessories (if you want them). Good luck.

Did ya put the button in the ligher hole? If ya did, I think I got your old bronco! lol

The switch powers the solenoid on the starter. So hook one wire to power (12V plus) and the other to the small terminal on the starter solenoid with the switch in between.
