'58 Ford F250 emblems
Can anyone help me find some repro or good used side emblems & a hood emblem for my '58? I'v been looking for month's on eBay, Dennis Carpenter, LMC etc. and it seems they make the repro's for all the years exept thre '58s.

'58 F-100 emblems reprobuction
I too looked long and hard to find '58 hood flashes and I finally found some. I have a couple problems though. First, the specific model number was an extra snap-on piece that went over the generic "jet" shape and my "F-100s" are missing. Second, the flashes I found have a little bit of pitting and I can't justify getting them rechromed right now, especially without the correct model number.
So, I was going to use these flashes as masters for casting some reproductions in resin. I can recreate the "F-100" by cutting up one of the resin copies, then create a new resin master with the "F-100" in place and then start making copies. My plan was to see how much it would cost to have my new resin copies plastic chromed and if that was too much to just spray my copy with "chrome" spray paint. I would also be more comfortable with a copy on my truck should thieves strike.
Knowing how hard these '58 flashes are to find I had considered offering my copies to others on this listserve but I don't want anybody coming after me for trademark infringement. Does anybody have any ideas or input?
