Rearend offset?

Anybody know if a 1972 F100 4x4 has a narrower rear axle than the front axle. If so, are both sides offset by the same amount or is the drivers side in a little bit further?

I think there was a straight ladder frame for the 72, so it should have the same width axles front and rear. Don't know about the offset though.

Yes, rear axles are narrower, the track was corrected in 73.

yup John is corret as usual,the rear axle IS narower then the front,you can make track even with the rite offset on the rear rims
