Hey all. I am in the process of rebuilding my engine only to find out that my 10,000 mile old 270 cam has a bad lobe on it. If any have a 270 CP Cam, i would be most intrested in talking a deal....and yea, i know you "had" one Eddie....lots good it does me now! haha.....anyway...might have to give ole Clifford a call again....o well...such is life....Thanks for all the future help!
Clifford is way overpriced. If you want a 270* cam, go with a Crane blueracer or something like that. I have a blueracer that sould be in today, when I get it in the motor, I'll tell ya how I like it.

Ya Eddie had one, and I have it now..... Clifford is a little pricey, have a look at a Crane PowerMax H-260-2 if you want something a bit cheaper, but, honestly, as much as I hate Clifford, another 270H from them may be the best bet....

I wouldn't mind a bit, Evan. Thad's whole deal on those lifters was that he wanted to see them used--and Dan "Mudinford" is a good guy; he's the gent from whom I bought the TTB that's now in my truck.
Ya, Ed, I've been talking to Dan a bit now and then....
Now, to ship those lifters back to where they came from....

I have to stick with the cilfford B/C just sent in the cam card last week to them to get my head set up do to the fact that I thought i had a good cam. BUT i can call and see (and am willing to bet) that he hasn't even touched it yet, i might just go ahead and get that 280-90 cam. Would like to see how it would do. Plus the Rhods lifters is a thought i would love to try. Give me a ball park on what you would want Evan...mud-n-ford86(No Email Addresses In Posts!)...And would that make me have to lash the valves now? I got my Fabritech kit in the other week and am chomping at the bit to get it started. MAN this thing is built tough...but i will keep a post on how it goes when i get it going....anyway...thanks again for the help!
