I just got off the phone with a big wig at Interco and he said if we could get enough people interested in a 54" Thornbird he'd mold them up. They will only be available in 15" rim so they will be easy to bolt up to D28 TTB and Ford 7.5 axles
I hope your joking....lol

ENOUGHT PEOPLE INTERESTED, ive been here for a year and already pounded in my head is HELL NO THORNBIRDS!!!! LOL Oh ya quad, if you exteded your trucks wheelbase about 30 inches, it wouldnt be that great of an angle, it would look weird, but isnt that all these pos show trucks look like. Also, like the lift, will you fab one up for an 80 150 4x4!

Right now on ebay you can buy 1 front and 2 rear rockwell axles for $1000. Spending all the money I did on my chromo'd 60 seems a little stupid right now.

hahahha.....yeah, until you think how much it costs to make them street legal.....big$$$$$$$$$$, if you do it yourself the brakes alone cost close to a 700-800....then getting them shortened, etc etc....and finding wheels for them isn't cheap.....

So maybe the grass isnt greener on the rockwell side of the fence? Is Quad seeing the light of day? HAHAHAHA!

I agree that on your application I wouldnt use anything else but for 99% of us who do drive our trucks to work an so forth rocks can be just as expensive as a chromo'd 60 and a 1 ton rear. Not to mention easier to install. Both axles have their plus and minus.

My goal is to convert a rock owner over to a D60/Sterling setup!

Thats when the T-shirts will be made!

Forget rockwells, I am just gonna yank axels out of our John Deere 42 and 4630s... I can make it work! and then I will run 72 inch tractor tires.

You know that will be too much work, i should just get some wheel conversions to run the 72s on my D44 TTB/8.8 combo
