Sandoholics that is a sweet ride. I like the paint job on it. And Snurtle damn those are some serious gears. I cannot even imagine how that X comes off the line. Wow.

I have a 12" on mine all it is is a 8" atlas spring with 4" hangers in the front and 4" blocks in the rear which have never giving me issues just make sure you go back for the re torque after 700 miles or so. Make sure you lengthen your front drive shaft to get more travel or youll completly crack your tranfer case in half if you bottom out the front. Get some shocks that are stiff in the front on both compression and rebound, for the rear I would ask for a soft compression setting and a very stiff rebound or your rear passengers are going to have broken necks if you decide to play around off road, their heads will smack the celieng. Im running dual bisteins on all four corners but I need to switch the valving on my rear shocks because I cant keep my rear end on the ground and it keeps blowing my rear ring and pinion. Ive recently added some rear air bags for towing which also helps for the sag which is inevitable if you load your rear springs often. Some traction bars are a must ORU has some nice ones.

What do you guys think of this lift?

its a 12.5" f250 lift by donahoe. its on ebay here is the auction# Item number: 230198201826

Mostly use my X for running from the City to my farm. Doesnt see any major offroading. Some muddy fields and back country stuff is about it.

Opinions?

So the donahoe 12.5" lift kit fits 99 to 04. As i understand due to the different mounting points on excursion vs F250 I will loose up to 2 inches. Should give me 10" just what i need.

Ya, cant wait for things to show up. Going to be fun times in the garage over the hollidays!
Will take some before after pics for the gallery as well.

About the 2" loss of height. SDHQ tells me it will be the full 12.5" no loss. going to make my 38" 15.5 mud grapplers look small. ahh well time will tell.

Yep, those 38's will look like "car" tires on 12.5" of lift!!
I have also head that due to the mounting locations on the X compared to F series SD's that there is "about" a 2" difference also, but I don't have any experience personally, just several people who I have talked to on the subject.

I hope your garage is taller than mine

Michael

Shadow you will want to go with a 42" tiere for a 12 inch lift or those tires will look like go cart tires on that monster of a truck. 2xtreme that truck of yours is awesome. The more X's I see lift up in the 8-10 " area the more I want to add to mine. That is one sweet ride. Is that custom or packaged lift?
