Was you able to get around with adjusting your hood? If so did it seem to help or no?
On my '02 F250 the hood bumpers work themselves down over time. I don't use the fancy math that some of ya,ll use, I just crank the offender up/down till it looks good.
As far as my 2wd Ford quality, I've got 74000 miles now and have replaced a drag link, shocks, brake pads, and several sets of tires. I don't baby my truck, so for all the abuse the poor truck has seen, "it" is the quality Ford claims. Sorry got carried away, I know not all trucks are created equal...even Fords.
I'm on my 4th Ford product. Very happy with my Ford vehicles. I consider myself lucky that I picked up an Excursion, just loving it! Sorry you have such luck, Gevans.
I'd have to say that's true, Gevans. I got lucky though with a problem I had with my old Expediton. It was still under warranty and the leather seats were cracking. Shouldn't have been happening after less than two years. The quality of the leather was very poor. The 36,000 mark was coming up so I took a chance and complained about the seats to my Ford service lady. I eventually got all of them replaced with new leather factory covers. But, I'm sure that was such an easier request than motor or drive train complaints. I know I wouldn't have had such luck then. If we keep complaining hopefully they will get better.
